A woman holding a rolled up yoga mat

4 weeks | Fully online

Ever wanted to try yoga but found public classes a bit intimidating or too quick?

Join me virtually to try something new from the comfort of your own home and practice yoga with me in a fun, online environment.

Suitable for beginners wanting to understand the basic movements and concepts involved in yoga, this 4-week programme is designed to build strength and flexibility: you will notice an impact on both your mind and body – on and off your yoga mat.

The global pandemic has presented a unique and challenging situation where we’ve all had to adapt our lives and find a new way of living. Now more than ever it’s important that we create space for ourselves and find ways to support our physical and mental health.

Have fun, stay safe and be part of a growing online community.

All for £69 and you will end the programme fully equipped and confident to join open yoga classes.

"Rachel's yoga classes are very accessible for beginners, and also challenge you as you progress each week. I felt as though I became part of a community during the programme - it was a very safe space to be in, and I looked forward to the classes each week!
Rachel is very approachable and offered me valuable support throughout the programme.
If you're curious about yoga, want to progress your practice, or take more time out for yourself, it's a great place to begin!"
Olivia Kerrigan
"I cannot recommend Rachel’s yoga programmes enough! The programme gave me permission to focus on and improve my physical and mental health and wellbeing.
Even though it's an online programme, Rachel is able to teach like we are in the room and through her clear instructions and demonstrations, it feels no different to being in a real class but with the added convenience of doing it from your living room. This programme is definitely the beginning of improvements in my personal and professional life."
Hannah Craig
"Rachel is a fantastic teacher who has helped me be positive, take care of myself, and shut off my mind to help me to relax. I have really enjoyed the virtual yoga sessions and will definitely continue my yoga journey. It has also taught me that I am a strong person, physically and mentally. I have noticed a difference in how my mind and body feels, in just a short space of time."

Is this programme right for me?

If you’ve always wanted to try yoga, to understand the basic movements and concepts and see if it can make a difference to your wellbeing, then a beginners introductory programme is a great place to start.

No specific fitness requirements or flexibility is needed for this programme – only that you can get up and down off the floor easily and comfortably*.

We’ll take this programme at a steady pace, starting with the basics and making sure you have a grasp of alignment in key poses, before building up to a flow. I always encourage you to work within your own limits – your body is yours, so I provide lots of adaptations to suit all levels.

One great thing to come out of lockdown is that we can try new things in the comfort of our own homes. Yoga is no exception: you won’t be in a studio next to Bendy Wendy, and you don’t need to worry about attending somewhere new or planning your journey. It’s your space to enjoy the experience.

So if you’d like to find time to switch off, try something new in the comfort of your own home, and to feel energised and stronger, then this programme is for you – now is the time to put YOU first.

*You should be able to get up and down off the floor easily to join this programme and get the most of it. If you have any significant injuries I need to be aware of, please contact me here so we can chat 🙂

Yoga goes far beyond time spent on your mat; it allows us to raise our mind and body awareness by strengthening our ability to be more present.

I passionately believe that taking time to understand ourselves helps us to be our best selves so we can show up for others, be kinder to ourselves and everything around us.

As you build a regular practice, you will get familiar with other aspects of yoga to create new habits through self-awareness.

Yoga is for everyBODY.

Whatever your age, flexibility or fitness, yoga can improve mobility, strength and recovery for your body.

But yoga is not just physical, it incorporates meditation and values to live by to encourage more mindful living.

If you’d like to quiet the chatter in your mind, give your body some love, and find a new sense of calm, yoga can help.

Have you ever seen Usain Bolt maintain his pace long distance? No. Because it’s impossible to run at 100mph all of the time. We need to rest, pause and reset.

It’s not just self-compassion and self-care why we need to do this – it’s science.

Take this time to consider how you want to lead your ‘new normal’ as our lives continue to shift. Create new habits now and find balance, energy and connection for life.

Class times

All classes are 45 minutes and delivered via Zoom.

As a Yoga Teacher and Programme Manager for leadership development programmes, my background is rooted in helping people to realise their potential. Since completing my 200-hr yoga teacher training in 2019, by 2020, like everyone, I had to move my business online. As a result, I’ve been able to reach and connect with more people than ever and developed a wellness service to help cultivate positive physical and mental health. When I teach yoga, my goal is simple – help my students to move freely, feel confident, be mindful and have fun!

Once you’ve registered for the programme, you’ll receive an email with all the details you need to log in, join the Zoom sessions and get the most out of your 4 weeks. Through your online access, you receive a full programme overview and information pack, along with a timetable reminder and technique videos. I’ll make sure you have everything you need to be ready for the first session on Sunday – see you then!
