Organisation Wellbeing

What is wellbeing anyway?

Wellbeing centres around a sense of happiness and enjoyment of life, alongside, crucially, the ability to manage life challenges with resources and resilience without feeling overwhelmed. Wellbeing includes our physical, social, mental and emotional wellbeing, all intricately interconnected.

With increasing workloads, remote working, and constant screen work, many organisations acknowledge the importance of supporting the wellbeing of their employees.

But where do you start?

One of the most helpful things you can do for your employees is to equip them with the tools they need to look after their own wellbeing, and make it acceptable to talk about wellbeing without judgement in the workplace so employees can put these tools into practice.

I offer a number of services designed to help organisations support their employees or clients. These services aren’t simply trainings or routine sessions: everything I do is practical, useable and memorable so individuals can take away what they learn to support themselves. Perhaps most importantly, it is engaging and fun too.

Wellbeing Sessions

As work and life gets busier, our minds are rarely in the present – worrying about the meeting we had yesterday, or the deadline we need to meet next week. When this worry and pressure becomes constant, it can increase anxiety and stress, and can lead to more serious mental health illnesses, such as depression.

Addressing these feelings before they become serious problems not only helps your people to thrive, but also supports the performance of your organisation too.

From breathwork and mindfulness, to mindset management and goal setting, however you would like to support your people, my sessions are engaging and practical so they will leave with a clear idea on how to maintain positive wellbeing.

Yoga Sessions

More and more organisations are recognising the benefits of yoga for their employees.  The likes of Google, Apple, Nike, HBO and Forbes offer classes on-site. It’s no surprise: yoga has been proven to reduce stress, anxiety and improve mental health.

Yoga helps both body and mind; it is not just about movement. Yoga incorporates movement, breathing and guiding principles amongst many more elements to help us be present and less ‘busy’ in our minds. Calmer minds and more presence leads to more awareness, productivity and better performance at work.
Whether you are looking for yoga sessions for your employees to find some down time, or want to understand how yoga might benefit your people more widely, yoga is a practice that can be incorporated into your wellbeing plan as part of a holistic approach to employee wellbeing.
